We are trailblazers open and curious about every interaction and solution, creating a naturally dynamic environment.
The process of innovation is enabling something new to be created, taking ideas forwards towards innovation. You accommodate for change, open-minded to co-creation to solve the blockers in your way.
Disruptors or innovators are hard to come by and often end up drowned out by the noise of “this is mad, it can’t be done” or “we don’t have time for that”. Many other organisations might see innovators as rebels and threatens the current processes of their organisations. We welcome these rebels, innovators, and misfits. As per the words of Rob Siltanen:
Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
We want to change the world, and while it may not be the world in its entirety, we could change the world for someone. We make business processes easier, saving CFO’s time on generating reports so that they can do the things that matter.
Why is innovation a core value?
Our organisation started from innovation. It was a rebel who challenged the view of others to change the world, his world. EnterpriseWorx (EWX) has become a home for many like-minded individuals who continue to push the boundaries of the tech industry.
How do we facilitate innovation?
Simply put, innovation comes naturally to our team. Constantly - searching for a more effective way to achieve a goal or even inventing a completely new product to take to market. Innovation is never a single event and forms part of the collective of actions. We brainstorm, we ask questions, we take risks, and we learn.
What are some key indicators that you have been successful?
The best question yet! We have and continue to develop many products. While the concept of innovation often is seen as a - new idea - it is quite the opposite. Innovating is multi-faceted in that you innovate your existing (mature/old) products to suit the ever-changing tech market.
We continue to do so with one of our older products – Conductor4SQL – which has been around for over a decade. The other being that we have developed three new products within the last few years. If you are still doing the same things the same way you did five years ago, you probably aren’t innovating in your day to day activities.
Has innovation affected the way you hire team members?
Indeed, it has. We find comfort in knowing that people are crazy enough to change the world; and innovation is the driving force in adapting to an ever-changing environment, especially true in the technology space.
We are passionate innovators, we are troublemakers and rebels. We enjoy the rush of pushing our boundaries to innovate and explore a realm unknown to us. We enjoy the rush of the high-fives as we achieve greatness, and we learn from our failures. Innovation is about getting up after the lows and forging ahead, bolder, and more determined.
